is a Black woman owned and led therapy practice that offers wellness coaching to clients in any state, and tele-therapy to clients in DC, MD, NJ, PA, and VA.

We provide a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space for all clients.

Meet the Team

    I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both NJ and PA. I specialize in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and many other mental health difficulties and struggles. I approach therapy from a Person Centered framework. My main goal is to establish and maintain a positive rapport with my clients. I believe that trust and comfort need to be established first so that the real work can begin. I believe that my clients are the experts on themselves and I am just here to help guide you towards your goals and ultimately back to yourself.

    I have over 7 years of experience and I have worked in various areas and with many different types of populations within mental health. Ranging from individual therapy to Crisis Response and from stress management to Schizophrenia. I have a background in CBT and Mindfulness as well as Person Centered therapy.     Whether you are struggling with grief, depression, anxiety, or coping with current or past traumas, I want to give you the tools to begin the journey towards healing. So often we can feel stuck in painful experiences or patterns of behavior that no longer serve us. I use solution oriented, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients gain awareness and put therapy into practice. I approach therapy with the client in mind in terms of what may be helpful to achieving their goals. Whether that’s helping you sort through your thoughts and connect to your emotions, and or it may be focusing on the ‘here and now’ to address what’s coming up in that moment. I believe it all starts with awareness. My goal is to hold the mirror so you can reflect on what may need to change to meet your needs.

    I have over 7 years experience counseling individuals and families in the DMV area and I currently see clients via tele-health in DC, MD, and VA. I have always had a passion for working in the helping professions and have practiced counseling in inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, and private practice settings.
